ABRE

Could we store light in a pot and let it go out when opening the pot? This was the idea behind Abre Lamp.

Abre means “open” in Spanish. The way to dim the light by moving up or down the interior cylinder is the main feature of these lamps. This feature makes the user interact with the object in an easy and original way. There is no switch, the light turns on when pulling up and it turns off when pushing down.

Although it is presented in ceramic and wood, its design is totally versatile when choosing other materials, being possible to be produced completely in ceramic, glass...
